PetScan is a mobile application that analyzes pet food quality and meal safety using AI. The service includes:
- OCR text extraction from pet food labels
- AI-powered nutritional analysis and quality scoring
- Meal/bowl photo analysis for nutritional content estimation
- Dangerous food detection (chocolate, onions, grapes, raisins, etc.)
- Portion assessment based on pet weight and breed
- Product comparison
- Daily nutrition tracking and feeding log
- Personalized recommendations based on pet profiles
- Cloud sync and data backup
- Scan and meal analysis history storage
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate information about your pet (age, weight, activity level, etc.) to receive appropriate recommendations.
3.2 Proper Use
You agree to:
- Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
- Not misuse or abuse the service
- Not share your account with others

5. Accuracy and Limitations
While we strive for accuracy, PetScan:
- May not correctly scan all labels (poor lighting, image quality)
- Provides estimates that may differ from official values
- Cannot detect all harmful ingredients
- Should not replace professional nutritional consultation

6. Subscription and Payments
6.1 Free Features
Basic scanning and analysis features are available for free with limitations.
6.2 Premium Subscription
Premium subscription includes:
- Unlimited label scans and meal analyses
- Advanced AI analysis with personalized recommendations
- Cloud backup and cross-device sync
- Priority customer support
Subscription plans: €3.99/month or €39.99/year (auto-renewable).
6.3 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and managed via RevenueCat
- Prices are displayed in the app before purchase in your local currency
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Cancel anytime through your app store settings
- Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase
- No commitment: cancel at any time, access continues until the end of the billing period
6.4 Refunds
Refund policies are governed by your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Contact Apple or Google support for refund requests.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of PetScan are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
